How lucky you are if your parents can raise you and your siblings in a familiar and well-protected environment. So I am infinitely grateful that I was able to grow up as the son of a farming couple in southwestern Baden-Württemberg from 1956 onwards. Money was of course important and scarce, but it wasn't everything. You knew everyone in the village of 800 people, a natural lifelong bond grew and it is still an honor to have been born there! 

I was always late;
with my first love, 
at high school, 
late when I started studying, 
late with my own company and 
late when I started a family
but  it was never to late!
